IN April last year the City of Launceston council started to undertake a risk assessment of the metal tiger statues in Brisbane Street Mall (The Examiner, January 6). Ten months have lapsed and all is quiet on the Northern front. That’s around 300 days for an accident to happen, not that City of Launceston worry, their public risk insurance will cover the medical cost, but not the person damaged, or the worry of that…
